Welcome to Cruse Bereavement Care Bristol and District Area.

Important Update: 3rd December 2018

Wonderful News!

Further to announcing in April that, due to circumstances beyond our control, we were having to relocate, we are delighted to report that, despite numerous obstacles and setbacks, we have finally found a new home.

Today, we are moving to new premises in the very heart of Bristol.

Our new office is based at 23 – 25 St. Augustine’s Parade, Bristol BS1 4UL.

We are located above Dom’s Coffee House, widely recognised as purveyor of the finest coffee in our area. For anyone not familiar with the area, our building is a few doors down from the Bristol Hippodrome, next to Pizza Hut.

In January we are re-opening any of the services that we had to temporarily suspend.

Updates will be provided on this web-page and our social media channels, so please keep checking for further announcements and news.

2018 marks the 40th anniversary of our charity.

We provide care and support for bereaved children, young people and adults in Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset.

Most people, at some point in their lives, will be faced with the death of someone they love or care deeply about. When someone you love dies it can feel as though a part of you has also died. You don’t have to deal with your grief, feelings and circumstances on your own. We are here to help.

Please explore our website. You will find lots of useful information and advice for bereaved people and those around them including family, friends and carers, employers and service providers. You will also find information about how you can help our charity as a volunteer, by raising money for our projects and services and helping in other ways.

If you need help please phone 0117 926 4045 or email us at bristol@cruse.org.uk Our phone lines are often busy. If you cannot get through please leave a message with your name and number and we will get back to you as quickly as possible .

If you urgently need to talk to someone outside of office hours please call our national helpline – 0808 808 1677

All of our services are free. We rely heavily on public support and we welcome donations and assistance of any kind.
